Micropoint Stimulation

A holistic and natural way to treat the body and mind. MPS combines osteopathy, acupuncture and neurology to treat chronic pain and deregulate the autonomic nervous system. Micropoint stimulation devices are most commonly used on acupuncture points to treat specific conditions.

Red light therapy

Red Light can be incorporated into a massage session for any type of imbalance, injury, disease or stress that may incur. When applied correctly it can accelerate the healing process by 60-80%, provide pain relief and comfort.

Meet Shelly

Shelly studied at the D’Arcy Lane Institute in London and became a registered massage therapist with the CMTO in 2008. Prior to this, she earned a BA in Psychology at Georgia State University where she competed in cross country and track on a full scholarship. In 2000 she graduated from D’AL School of Equine Massage Therapy in London before becoming a groom in the harness racing industry and owning her own business providing massage therapy to equine athletes, specializing in harness racing. She has taken courses in red light therapy, myofascial and soft tissue release, micropoint stimulation and kinesiology taping. Her massage therapy treatments include a balance of techniques and modalities catered to what each client’s needs. Providing scar release using Dolphin micropoint stimulation is one of her focuses for clients that have had an injury or surgery and left with a scar. Growing up outside of Elmwood, she was a competitive middle distance athlete with the Saugeen Track and Field Club in Port Elgin. At a young age, she learned the value of massage therapy in preventing and recovering from injuries which led her to pursue a career in massage therapy. Now residing in Walkerton, she enjoys the outdoors, running with her hound Floyd and spending time with her retired racehorse Shadow.
